My 15 year-old son has been taking guitar lessons from Lou for a year and a half. Before this, he was not interested in playing his guitar and since going to Lou, he has learned so many skills and the level of playing he has reached so far is phenomenal! Lou is very knowledgeable, patient and extremely talented. I would recommend Lou to everyone! Lou is the best!!

I decided to take guitar lessons this year as part of my "bucket list" things I want to master. Lou was a great instructor and I found his lessons to be great. His guidance through the progression of learning finger placement, chords, strumming and picking were all done in a very personable way. I hope to continue my journey with the guitar and when back in Az in the fall I will take more lessons from Lou. I highly recommend Lou to everyone.

Two years ago I decided to start a journey of learning to play guitar. So I called Lou Villanova and that was the best decision I made for my journey. Lou is a extremely talented musician, who does a great job transfering his knowledge of music to his students. He can teach all levels, and he is dedicated to making his students better. I find him to be very personable, friendly, and a pleasure to have as a music teacher. After two years of lessons I am amazed at how well my skills have developed, without having any background in music. I highly recommend taking guitar lessons from Lou.

So far, I have only had one lesson with Lou but was so impressed with his sincerity to teach compared to other instructors I've tried that spent more of my time showing off than teaching me. Lou seems patient and actually listens to what I say. I'm more than confident that with Lou's help, I'll be able to improve my skills, technique and overall musical ability more quickly and efficiently than on my own or with the other teachers I've tried.
